Asfur Angel

Identification: Above is the adult coloration of this fish . The Arabian Angelfish or Crescent Angelfish juvenile is blue with light-blue and white stripes, it looks similar to the Koran angelfish except the Arabian Angelfish or Crescent Angelfish has 3 bars that are predominantly white. Older juveniles have yellow markings on the dorsal and a yellow caudal fin that make them distinguishable from the Koran angelfish.

Origin: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden
Minimum tank size: 135 Gallon
Behavior: Found singly or in pairs. Generally peaceful in the aquarium but can be aggressive towards other Arabian angelfish and other large angelfish species.
Feeding and diet: Must have some sponge in their diet.
Reef Compatibility: No
Cautions: Do not mix with other angel unless you have a large enough tank or they will fight.
