Behavior: Once described as the perfect reef
fish. A docile fish that will breed very easily.
Males of this hardy species mouth brood eggs and fry until they are free
swimming.
Feeding and diet: Meaty foods, including krill, shrimp, squid, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp.
Reef Compatibility: Excellent. Will spawn in reef tanks if conditions are right.
Cautions: Try to keep in pairs rather than in large groups as they may quarrel as the mature.
