Identification: Dark blue-black on the anterior portion of the body, and orange on the posterior portion.

Origin: Indo-Pacific
Minimum tank size: 20 Gallon
Behavior: A curious little fish. Interesting to observe and easy to keep in aquariums with micro algae growth. Spends most of its time perching on or picking at the substrate and is usually ignored by tank mates.
Feeding and diet: Vegetable matter, including frozen and dried foods that contain the blue-green algae Spirulina.
Reef Compatibility: Excellent
Cautions: May behave aggressively towards members of its own species. Keep only one per tank unless a male-female pair. May jump out of an uncovered aquarium.
