Blue Damsel
Abudefdul cyaneus

Identification: Its coloration is bright blue overall with a black line through the eye and an eye spot on the upper rear of the fish. 

Maximum Length: Grows to a length of approximately 2-3 inches

Origin: Western Pacific

Minimum tank size: 20 Gallon

Behavior: This species is an excellent marine aquarium species. It will accept a variety of foods in the aquarium environment. 

Feeding and diet: Will eat frozen and dry foods.

Reef Compatibility: this species makes an excellent marine reef aquarium inhabitant because it will not bother invertebrates. 

Cautions: For its size, this species is an aggressive fish, particularly towards other members of its own species. However, it may also prey upon other less aggressive species.
