Identification: Same body shape as the Tomato clown but darker coloration on the mid-body.

Maximum Length: 4.7"

Origin: Western and South Pacific

Minimum tank size: 30 Gallon

Behavior: Keep singly or in pairs; two juveniles will usually mature into a mated pair. Adult females are larger than the males. Will go in anemones over time. Sebae, Long Tentacle, Carpet, and Bubble Anemones are preferred with bubble-tips being their favorite. Clowns can be very protective of the  host  anemone or soft coral that it has claimed as it home.

Feeding and diet: Varied Diet, including meaty food items such as frozen mysis shrimp, plankton,  vitamin enriched brine shrimp and frozen preparations for herbivores.

Reef Compatibility: Ideal for the reef aquarium. An occasional specimen may wallow in polyps or corals, which can irritate them and cause them to close. If this does happen, attempt to add a sea anemone for it.

Cautions: May fight with other clownfish.
