Identification: The Tiger-Tail Seahorse is a very distinctive
species, sporting beautiful and bright yellow bands around their tail.
The ventral side of the tail is also typically yellow, and the markings around
the eyes are simply stunning. Snouts tend to be quite long, compared to
the relatively small and sleek head. They do fairly well in captivity,
and have been know to accept frozen foods, with a bit of patience and some
consistent training. Color/Pattern: commonly hues of yellow and black,
sometimes alternating; striped tail (although this may not be visible in dark
specimens); mottled or blotched pattern on body; may have fine white lines
radiating from eye.

Central Pacific: Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines
Minimum tank size: 20 Gallon
Feeding and diet: Frozen, enriched Mysis
shrimp, copepods, Hawaiian Red Shrimp.
