Lemonpeel Angel
Centropyge flavissima
Lemonpeel Angel

Identification: The Lemonpeel Angel is a stunning dwarf Angel that is yellow in color with a distinct blue ring around its eyes.

Maximum Length: 5.5"

Origin: Indo-Pacific, Hawaii

Minimum tank size:  50 Gallon

Behavior: These fish do very well in aquariums and prefer lots of rockwork to feel comfortable .

Feeding and diet: This angelfish survives mainly on algae so make sure and give it a good spirulina formula. It is important that you feed angelfish all kinds of live, frozen, and prepared formula foods. Pygmy angelfish are known to eat mostly algae in the wild, so a diet rich in vegetable matter is essential. There are several good commercial foods available including Formula II and Angel Formula.

Reef Compatibility:  Keep with caution in a reef aquarium; may eat/nip large-polyped stony corals, soft coral polyps & clam mantles.

Cautions: They should not be kept with other Dwarf Angels and only one should be kept per tank.
