Identification:  Orange body with white stripes outlined in black.

Maximum Length: The Ocellaris Clownfish rarely attains a size of greater than two inches in the aquarium.

Origin: Indo-Pacific

Minimum tank size:  20 Gal.

Behavior:  Very social and personable fish. Can be kept in groups. Least aggressive clown fish in the species. Most are captive bread now a days. This fish, as with most anemone fish, is very tolerant of water fluctuations and a good choice for the beginner. The Ocellaris Clownfish is typically associated with the anemones Stichodactyla haddoni, Stichodactyla gigantea, Heteractis magnifica and Heteractis crispa. 

Feeding and diet:  Varied Diet, including meaty food items such as frozen mysis shrimp, plankton,
                               vitamin enriched brine shrimp and frozen preparations for herbivores.
