Identification: A cobalt blue body has a bright yellow band running from the tip of the nose, across the back and onto the tail, giving the impression of a tropical sunrise.

Origin: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden

Minimum tank size: 20 Gallon

Behavior: .One of the least boisterous dottybacks. Should be kept on its own or with dissimilar fish.

Feeding and diet: Meaty foods, such as marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysis shrimp, and enriched brine.

Reef Compatibility: Good

Cautions: May eat ornamental shrimp if small enough.
