Tomato Clown
Amphiprion frenatus

Identification:   Dark orange body with a single white stripe behind the head.

Origin: Western Pacific

Minimum tank size:  30 Gal.

Behavior:  Like all damselfish, they can be territorial and aggressive, especially as they get older. As with all clownfish most are born as males, and the dominant male will change to a female. Should be kept singly or in mated pairs. Do not keep with other clownfish.

Feeding and diet:  Varied Diet, including meaty food items such as frozen mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, as well as frozen preparations for herbivores.

Reef Compatibility:   OK.

Cautions:  An aggressive eater, it will consume most prepared foods. It should not be housed with any shy or passive feeding fish.
                  May be quarrelsome in confined spaces.
